This Privacy Policy, provided by ZDO CORP, headquartered in the State of Florida, USA (“Platform”, “we”, “our”), explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect the personal data of users residing in Florida, United States, in compliance with the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR), effective as of July 1, 2024.

1. USER RIGHTS

In compliance with the FDBR, you have the following rights, which you may exercise upon request:

  • Confirm whether your personal data is being processed and access it;
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data;
  • Delete personal data provided by or obtained about you;
  • Obtain a copy of your data in a portable, digitally usable format;
  • Request the opt-out of your data being used for:
    • Targeted advertising;
    • Sale of personal data;
    • Profiling with legal or significant effects.

2. COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

2.1 Data Collected

Sensitive data (only when you use the related feature):

  • Precise location — when you enable location to find nearby services;
  • Identity verification data — when you complete identity verification (KYC) in the app, including government ID images, selfie, liveness video, and facial biometric data processed to verify your identity and prevent fraud;
  • We do not extract facial biometrics from ordinary profile or job photos you upload with the camera.

2.2 Purposes of Collection

  • Account registration and management;
  • Service intermediation;
  • Payments and transfers;
  • Communication between client and service provider;
  • Fraud prevention and compliance with legal obligations.
  • Identity verification (KYC), account security, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal and payment-partner requirements, when you complete the in-app identity verification flow powered by our verification provider.

2.3 Face Data and Identity Verification

ZDO CORP uses Signzy Technologies Private Limited (“Signzy”), a third-party identity verification provider, when you complete identity verification during account registration or when required in the app. Signzy’s services are described at https://www.signzy.com/.

What face data we collect
When you start identity verification, our app opens a secure in-app browser session (verification “journey”) hosted by Signzy. During that session, you may be asked to provide:
• A selfie and/or liveness video of your face;
• Images of a government-issued identification document that may include your face;
• Verification results and session metadata (e.g., pass/fail status, timestamps, session identifiers).

The Zdo mobile app does not perform on-device facial recognition, does not create facial templates on your device, and does not use Apple Face ID for identity matching. Facial biometric processing for verification is performed by Signzy on its secure systems to confirm identity, detect fraud, and perform liveness and document matching, as part of KYC only.

What is not face data in our app
Photos you choose to upload for your profile or to document a job (e.g., repair areas) are standard images. We do not use those photos for facial recognition, biometric identification, or advertising.

How we use face data
We use face data collected during identity verification only to:
• Verify your identity and eligibility to use the Platform;
• Prevent fraud, duplicate accounts, and platform abuse;
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and payment-provider obligations;
• Protect the security of your account and other users.

We do not use face data for targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or marketing profiling.

Third parties, sharing, and storage
• Signzy processes selfie, liveness, ID document images, and related biometric verification data on our behalf under a data processing agreement with confidentiality and security obligations. Signzy’s privacy practices are described in Signzy’s Privacy Policy (available on https://www.signzy.com/terms-of-service).
• Zdo receives and may store verification outcomes (e.g., verified/not verified, reference IDs) in our systems and cloud infrastructure used to operate the Platform (e.g., authentication and backend services).
• We do not sell face data or biometric data. We do not share face data with advertisers or data brokers.

Retention of face data
• Identity verification media and related records: retained for up to twenty-four (24) months after the verification date, or for the duration of your active account if needed for fraud prevention, disputes, or legal compliance, whichever is longer, unless a shorter period is required by law. After that period, data is deleted or anonymized where feasible.
• Profile and job photos: retained while your account is active and deleted within thirty (30) days of a confirmed account deletion request, unless law requires longer retention.

Your choices
Identity verification is required only where the Platform, a feature, or applicable law requires it. You may contact us (Section 10) to exercise access, correction, or deletion rights regarding personal data, subject to legal exceptions described in Section 1.

Minors
We do not knowingly collect face data from anyone under 18 (see Section 8).

3. DATA SHARING

We may share information:

  • We may share information:

  • With third parties essential to service provision (payment processors, cloud hosting, customer support), under contracts with confidentiality and security obligations;

  • With Signzy Technologies Private Limited (Signzy) to perform identity verification (KYC), including processing of selfie, liveness checks, government ID images containing your face, and related biometric verification data, solely to verify identity and prevent fraud on our behalf;

  • In case of merger, acquisition, or legal requirement by competent authority.

    We never sell personal data, including biometric or face data.

4. LIMITATION OF COLLECTION

We collect only adequate, relevant, and necessary data for you to use the Platform’s features, as required by the FDBR.

5. DATA SECURITY

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption, access controls, etc.) to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data, as required by the FDBR.

6. RESPONSES TO USER REQUESTS

  • Requests are handled within 45 days, which may be extended by another 15 days with notice to the user.
  • If your request is denied, you will have the right to appeal within a reasonable period, with a response within 60 days.
  • We provide accessible and secure mechanisms for submitting these requests (via email, app interface, or website), without requiring the creation of a new account.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes in this Policy:

• Account and service data: for the duration of your account and as needed after closure for legal, tax, and dispute obligations.
• Identity verification (face data): as described in Section 2.3 (up to 24 months after verification, or longer if required for fraud prevention or law).
• Profile and job photos: while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of a confirmed deletion request unless law requires longer retention.
• Other data: until you request deletion where applicable, or as required by law.

8. MINORS UNDER 18

The Platform does not collect data from individuals under 18 years of age.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This Policy may be updated at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the Platform. Continued use after updates implies your acceptance.
